AK’s Cakes and Cupcakes — Shipping & Delivery Policy

Nationwide Shipping:

AK’s Cakes and Cupcakes is happy to offer shipping on eligible products within the United States. All products are freshly prepared and carefully packaged to help maintain quality during transit.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, package weight, and selected UPS shipping service. Available shipping options and estimated transit times will be displayed during checkout.

Please note that processing time is separate from UPS transit time. Because our products are freshly made to order, customers should allow time for their order to be prepared before shipment.

Local Delivery:

Local delivery is available within 50 miles of Covington, Georgia. Delivery availability, minimum order requirements, and delivery fees are determined by the customer’s delivery address and will be displayed at checkout.

Customers must provide an accurate delivery address and telephone number. Someone should be available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery location.

Shipping Delays:

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside the control of AK’s Cakes and Cupcakes may affect the estimated delivery date.

Incorrect Addresses:

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer’s responsibility.

Damaged Orders:

We take great care in preparing and packaging every order. If your order arrives damaged, please contact AK’s Cakes and Cupcakes as soon as possible and provide clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping box so we can review the issue.

Perishable Products:

Our cakes are food products and should be opened promptly upon delivery and stored according to the instructions provided with the order. AK’s Cakes and Cupcakes cannot guarantee product quality when a package is left unattended for an extended period after confirmed delivery.

Processing Time:

Orders are freshly prepared and typically processed within 2–3 business days before shipment. Processing time does not include weekends, holidays, or UPS transit time. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information.
